Mask Wearing at Cherry Creek Academy

Safety is our highest priority, and the goal is to maintain in-person learning. This mask Cherry Creek Academy will require masks inside school buildings for all students K-8 and all staff until further notice.

COVID - 19 Vaccinations

In addition, we are ready to provide vaccination clinics as soon as the next age groups are approved. The COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to protect yourself, your family, our students and our community from the COVID-19 virus. At this time, all people who are 12 years old or older can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at no charge. Please take advantage of the vaccination resources listed on our website to schedule a vaccine appointment for you or your child. 

COVID-19 Strategies at Cherry Creek Academy

CCA will use a series of overlapping prevention strategies to protect student and staff health this year. The district will:

• Promote vaccination and offer access to vaccines for families who choose to have their eligible students receive it – more information here;
• Ongoing no-cost COVID-19 testing for students, staff and community;

• Communicate known positive COVID-19 cases to Tri-County Health Department so that they can contact trace with families appropriately;
• Sustain positive airflow through ventilation systems in schools;
• Continue high-touch cleanings high-traffic areas of schools;
• Require handwashing with students and staff; and
• Reinforce the importance of students and staff staying home if sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
